Ding Hao a Chinese Language curriculum and cultural program designed for English-speaking families wishing to teach their children Mandarin Chinese and the Chinese culture. We're at the Radnor High School in the western Main Line suburbs of Greater Philadelphia Area.
The Ding Hao Classes were introduced in 1997 as part of the Main Line Chinese School (MLCS). The MLCS has taught Chinese language and culture to children from Chinese-speaking families for over 40 years. Ding Hao was designed for English-speaking families wishing to teach their children Mandarin Chinese. In 2002 we graduated from the Ding Hao Classes to the Ding Hao Chinese School, with Betty Foo as our Principal. The MLCS (also known as Ming De) continues as well, teaching the children of Chinese-speaking families. Click here for more information:Ding Hao Curriculum.
Ding Hao classes begin for children who are two and a half years old as of September 1. Classes meet each Saturday morning from 9:30-11:00 at Radnor High School from September - May. Click here for additional registration information.
In addition to our tuition fees, Ding Hao receives funding and support from the CCAGP, the Chinese Cultural Association of Greater Philadelphia. CCAGP also sponsors our cultural events, such as the Chinese New Year Party and the Main Line Chinese Festival.
